Explaining food webs and food chains
Food Chains:
A food chain is the way the enrgy from a plant (a produecer) goes into the animal that ate the plant then another animal that eats that animal so the food chain is an on going chain with links as the animals. The arrows in the food chain represent the way the energy.

Food Webs:
A foood web is a web that holds many food chains that are linked together. For example a fox does not just eat mice they also eat rabbit and other small rodents. There are severial levels of eaters first level, produecers second level, herbivors and third level, carnivors.

The Delicate Balance of Organisms:
If the balance of any orginism (population) increased or decreased it would alter the balance. For example if the population of producers droped the hebivors would start droping but it would not efeact the carnivors because carnivors can feast off other carnivaors. Some carnivors would probably convert into herbivors.
