Rainforest Conservation
The Destruction of the Amazon Rainforest:
The rainforest is in danger of industries that mine out resources for money. The rainforest has been being clear cut for years now, killing rare animals and many types of vegetation. Oil companies are also trying to put a pipeline through the rainforest to transport oil. All of these types of industry are hurting the rainforest in many ways. We might not have a rainforest in years to come.
Efforts to Conserve The Amazon Rainforest:
There are many conservations throughout the world devoted to protecting the rainforests. Over the years there have been protestors starting a rebelion against deforestation. There is a program called adopt an acre, where an ordinary person can own a piece of conserved rainforest. below is a link to a site that can tell you more about it.
