South America:
South America is a very large continent mostly located on the equator. The Amazon Rain forest and The Amazon river are located in Brazil South Americas largest country. There are very many differnt cultures in South America there are also many different types of land forms like the Andes mountians the highlands some cold weather and some warm weather and last but not least the Amazon rainforest. There is the Amazon River which contains over a thousand rivers that branch off from the Amazon is in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest.
The Amazon Rainforest:
The Amazon rainforest contains about 1/3 of all species of animals living in the Amazon. Its loctated on the banks of the Amazon river which is in Brazil and flows all the way ito middle South America. It streches 2.5 million square feet thats bigger than some of our states! The rainforest contains many many different animals, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, fish, herbivores, insects, carnivores and many other different species of animals and little creatures.
