South America:
South America is the fourth largest continent it includes 12 nations and a french Guiana. Most of Sout h America's popualtion is located in it's cities, South America extends above the equator in the north and almost to Antarctica to the south. The largest mountain range, the Andes, are located on the western side of South America. South America is surrounded by the Atlantic and Pacific ocean.
The Amazon Rainforest:

The Amazon Rainforest is one of the largest forests in the world. It produces 20% of our oxygen and takes up 2.5 million acres. The Amazon can be seen in these coutries: Brazil, Columbia, and Venezuala. If you would like to save our precious rainforest please go to www.rainforest.org and to HOW TO HELP. You can make a difference by saving atleast 1 acre.
