South America:
The Caribbean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, and the Pacific Ocean surround South America. South America has 13 countries. On the West Coast of South America there are a lot of Earthquakes, volcanoes, and Tsunamis. Which is in Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia. So u th America has lot of forest and grasslands. The hunting, forestry, subsistence forming, and life raising stock s are what most people like to do in South America. It has longest mountain chain in the world, and it has one of highest lakes in the world, c alled lake Titicaca on the Peruvian and Bolivian border. Argentina, Chile has the longest dry period ever recorded, it did not rain for more then 14 years!
The Amazon Rainforest:
The Amazon Rainforest located in Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador and Venezuela. It is important because it has supports almost half of animals and plants species. The Amazon basin is 2.5 million square miles. The yearly rainfall in the Amazon is 4 feet mo re than Maine's. One third of species lives and reproduces in the Amazon. There were an estimated ten million worldwide for the profit s Indians living the Amazon Rainforest five center ago. Today there are less then 200.000. Rainforest are being destroyed they yield.
