South American Amazon Carnivores
Carnivores place in a foodweb is basicaly that meat eaters. They eat the other animals that eat plants and even other meat eaters. Some kinda of meat eaters are lions, tigers, and jaguar.

Name: Puma
Description: Also known as mountian lions. Mass about 67 to 103 kg's.Pumas are large and slender animals. The colors are yellowish brown to grayish brown on the upper parts and the lower part is pale.The throat and neck is white. The tip of the tail is black.Their teeth are long and massive. They have one more premolar on each upper jaw then a bobcat or lynx.
Habitat: parts of North and Central South America and in the rainforests. They also live in grasslands, dry brush country and swamps. They use caves and rocky crevices as temporary shelter places.
Diet: The Puma mostly likes to eat moose,white deer and caribou. They also eat smaller animals like mice, squirrals, muskrats, beaver, racoons,coyote. They mostly like to eat larger animals. To kill their pray the leap on their back and break its neck with a powerful bite below the skull.

Name: Baby leopard
Description: head and body height is 104-180cm tail is 67-110cm weight is 37-90kg for male and female is 28-69 kg. No two leopards have the same fur pattern, it can be black spots on beige or all black but it mostly depends on where they live.
Habitat: middle South America
Diet: They mostly eat animals their size. They also eat rodents,birds and even insects. They usually don't eat animals bigger then them.

Name: Jagaurundi
Description: It can be black, red or brown, 5 to 6 kg, very small.
Habitat: Central and south America and in south west United States
Diet: birds, rodents, rabbits and lizards
