Also known as mountian lions.
Mass about 67 to 103 kg's.Pumas are large and
slender animals. The colors are yellowish brown
to grayish brown on the upper parts and the lower
part is pale.The throat and neck is white. The
tip of the tail is black.Their teeth are long and
massive. They have one more premolar on each
upper jaw then a bobcat or lynx. |

America and in the rainforests. They also live in
grasslands, dry brush country and swamps. They
use caves and rocky crevices as temporary shelter
places. |

The Puma mostly likes to eat
moose,white deer and caribou. They also eat
smaller animals like mice, squirrals, muskrats,
beaver, racoons,coyote. They mostly like to eat
larger animals. To kill their pray the leap on
their back and break its neck with a powerful
bite below the skull. |
