Carnivores are flesh-eating animals, meaning they eat meat. Some carnivores in the Amazon are: Jaguars, Anacondas, Vampire Bats, Glass Frogs, and Bush Dogs.

Name: Jaguar
Description: These carnivores are orange with black spots. Their tails are about 6 feet long. Jaguars are the third largest cat in the world and they don't roar.
Habitat: These animals live in a range from the Southwestern United States to Argentina.
Diet: Jaguars will eat just about anything that consists of meat.. Some of their meals include: small gators, turtles, frogs, and cattle. They especially love peccaries, capybara, deer, monkeys, tapirs, and sloths.

Name: Bush Dog
Description: Bush Dogs weigh about 10 to 15 pounds and can dive and swim underwater. Females have 1 to 6 babies. Their enemies are humans, jaguar, puma, and other large cats.
Habitat: Bush Dogs live in the Amazon Rainforest and other parts of South and Central America.
Diet: These animals eat mostly large rodents like: Acouchis, Agoutis, Dasyprocta, and Paca. Sometimes, They might also prey onlarger animals, like Capybaras and Rheas.

Name: Glass Frog
Description: There are over 60 different species of glass frogs.These reptiles live in trees. most Glass Frogs are about 1 to 2 inches long.
Habitat: Glass Frogs live in the rainforests in South America, close to rivers and streams.
Diet: These amphibians eat spiders and insects
