The omnivores have an avantage over the carnivores and herbivore is because they eat both plants and meat so if one dies out it can eat the other. The Flying Sguirrel, Spear-nosed Bat, and the Uakari Monkey are some of the other many omnivores in the Amazon Rainforest.

Name: Margay
Description: Most Margays weights between 3-4 kg. They are geart climbers. They look like a mini version of a Jaguar.
Habitat: Central America - South America. Amazon Basin.
Diet: Fruit and small aboreal prey such as porcupines, opossums, squirrels, capuchin monkeys, big-eared climbing rats, and sloths.

Name: Pygmy Marmoset
Description: They could fit easily on the palm of your hand. An adult weighs around 80 grams. They average around 5.5 inches in length with an 8 inch tail. They are the smallest monkey of Earth still alive.
Habitat: Tropical forests, Amazon Basin. Canopy layer.
Diet: Fruits, gum, sap, lizards, insects.

Name: Golden Headed Lion Tarmarin
Description: The Lion Tamarin is about 12 inches tall and can have a 17 inch tail. They weigh about 2 pounds.The Lion Tamarin has claws, not fingernails.
Habitat: Coastal rain forest region in Southeast Brazil. Canopy layer.
Diet: Insects, snails, spiders, lizards, eggs, small birds, and fruits.
