Description:: There are five species of sloths. Hoffman's two-toed sloth, Linne's two-toed sloth, Brown-throated three-toed sloth, Pale-throated three-toed sloth, and the Maned Sloth (three-toed).They can live about 12 years in the wild, and much longer in captivity.
