Scavengers
Within the food web there are a variety of animals, in which play different roles. For example, a scavenger does not hunt for its own food. Instead, a scavenger finds the carcass of a dead animal, and eats it. However, the other animals of the food web hunt for their own food, or kill it on their own. There for, an animal that finds dead animals and eats it, is considered a scavenger. Also, a scavenger is a part of the detriutus food chain, because detriutus means dead. In which, describes the lifestyle of the scavengers.
