Within the Amazon food web there are many animals that play different roles in nature. For instance, there are carnavoures in which eat meat or other animals. Also, they can be scavengers too when desperate for a meal. In addition there are, herbivors in which eat plants instead of other aniamls like, carnivoures, and scavengers.

Name: Capybara
Description: A small mouse like, tailess, furry herbivore.
Habitat: Amazon Rainforest. Close to water, within sections of the Andes Mountains. Also in, Argentina, Columbia, Uraguay, and Panama.
Diet: Tree Bark, plants, and grass.
Predators: Caimam, Puma, and Jaguar.

Name: Amazon River Dolphin
Description: Slender, sleek, gray, mammal.
Habitat: Orinico River, Amazon/South America
Diet: Various fish, crabs, and shrimp.
Predators: Fishing nets, and humans.

Name: Two toed Sloth.
Description: Hairy, slow in action, white/gray, mammal.
Habitat: Within the trees of Central America, Amazon, Hundoras, Brazil, and Paraguay.
Diet: Buds, Leaves, and various fruits.
Predators: Ocelot, Jaguars, other large cats,Anacoda's, and a variety of other snakes, and Harpy Eagles.
