Andaconda |
| Description:
|
A non-poisonous snake. A
relative to the Boa Constictor. It can grow to
over 30 feet long. The Andaconda is as thick as a
telephone pole. The Andaconda squeezes it's prey
for several hours and then eats it. |
| Habitat: |
The Andaconda usually lives
in Marches, brushes, and swamps. You'll find them
in Northern South America. |

The Andaconda's diet consits
of Capybara, tapir, frogs, turtles, caiman,
alligater, water birds |
| Predators: |
Animals that prey on the
Andaconda are Crocodile, jaguar, ocelot, caiman,
and alligator when the Andaconda is young. |

The Crocodile is an
endangered species. Crocodiles have 60 strong
teeth. This animal can pull a full grown
Wilderbeast in to the water in 20 minutes.
Crocodiles can live to be over 100 years. |

in South America and as well as many other parts
of the world that's near water. |

Caiman |
| Description: |
The Caiman belongs to the
Alligatoride Family. The largest Caiman, the
Black Caiman a threatened species, grew to 15
feet. The Dwarf Caiman is the smallest of this
species usually grows up to 5 feet long. They are
very rugged creatures and adapt to their
environment very quickly. |
| Habitat: |
The Caiman usually lives in
the river systems of Centeral and South America.
In South America they live in the Amazon Basin. |
| Diet: |
The Caiman's diet usually
consits of Amphibians, fish, reptiles, birds, and
somtimes larger animals. |
| Predators: |
The Enimies of the Caiman
are Humans, hunters who hunt them for their hide,
and lizards who try to get their eggs. |
